The last remaining dormant Spiegelworld show on the Las Vegas Strip now has a reopening date.
“Opium”Is due to return to its Cosmopolitan venue on September 24 with a program of 10 shows per week, at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. from Wednesday to Sunday. Tickets for the sci-fi comedy extravaganza are now on sale at Spiegelworld.com, as are passes to the company’s other active shows, “Absinthe” at Caesars Palace and “Atomic Saloon Show” at Grand Canal Shoppes at the Palazzo. The Opium Theater is located on the second floor of the Cosmo, next to the Ancient Rose. Rabbit. Lie. the supper club space, which Spiegelworld took over and began planning a new restaurant and entertainment venue. But it appears the company’s plans to open the restaurant and the show at the same time failed as a spokesperson could not confirm the restaurant’s opening date. Then again, it wouldn’t be surprising if the creative and unrestrained folks at Spiegelworld would open the doors to the new concept without warning, so keep an eye out for the space.

Now back at full speed and in double casting in the Spiegeltent in front of Caesars, the show takes the stage Sunday through Thursday at 7 and 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday at 7, 9 and 11 p.m.
