Hannah Ferrier boycotts ‘Below Deck Med’ – ‘and I watch everything on Bravo’
Although it’s not breaking news, former chef Hannah Ferrier has made it clear that she still refuses to watch. Under the Mediterranean Bridge after being fired from the show during season 5.
Some Bravo fans struggled to embrace new chief stew Natasha Webb, prompting some viewers to express to Ferrier that they wish she would return. And though there’s no turning back Under the Med BridgeFerrier is ready to make an appearance on another Under the bridge series.
She also said her dislike of watching her old show was Medium specific, sharing that she still watches a lot of Bravo.
Hannah Ferrier Still Watches A Lot Of Bravos, Even Though ‘Below Deck Med’ Isn’t On Her List
A Under the Med Bridge viewer recently tweeted that he wouldn’t be watching the current season without Ferrier. “Awwwwww”, Ferrier replied. “I can’t bring myself to watch and I’m watching EVERYTHING on bravo.”
Indeed, Ferrier watches Bravo a lot. She recently expressed shock at how The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills the fights took place on and off camera. Beyond fighting on camera, some fans took the drama RHOBH on social media and eventually started attacking and threatening Garcelle Beauvais’ son, Jax.
“I hate [the attacks on] kids, i hate all racism,” Ferrier told Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “With Housewives, they go low, they get dirty. It’s a pretty brutal setup.
“With real housewives, you agree to rip your head off,” she added. “And if you don’t, you’re not brought back. But it’s pretty disgusting what’s going on. Because I also love Garcelle. I think she’s just a fabulous woman. I’m definitely Garcelle and Sutton [Stracke] on Beverly Hills [laughed].”
She may not be watching ‘Below Deck Med,’ but has an opinion on chief stew Natasha Webb
Although she hasn’t watched the show, Ferrier still listens to her favorite recaps on the Look what Crappens podcast. “I just listen to the recaps,” she laughed. And added that Look what Crappens podcast host Ronnie Karam thinks Webb is boring, “So I think she’s boring,” she laughed.
She doesn’t think either Under the Med Bridge neither has it found its replacement. “It’s really tough because obviously they’ve changed the chef’s stew every season since I’ve been gone,” Ferrier said. “And I feel like that’s such an important role on Under the bridge to fill. Because you want someone who does their job well, but at the end of the day, we’re kind of like, “Oh, that’s yachting. It’s still a reality TV show. So you want someone who’s funny, who’s quick. Who is not afraid to face people. Not afraid to school their stews.
“I hope they find one soon,” she added. “Because whoever’s there now doesn’t look like… Like she could be really good at her job, but doesn’t look like interesting television.”
Hannah Would Make a ‘Below Deck’ Guest Return for Captain Lee or Captain Jason
Ferrier has just finished filming The True Love Boat and said come back at any time Under the bridge full-time series is definitely not in his future. “I certainly wouldn’t go and start a season hoping to finish it,” she said. “I’m good friends with Lee. I had a chat with him last week and I’m friends with Jason who does [Below Deck] Downstairs.”
“So with those two, if they needed any help, and like I said, to Lee, we were talking about an interview that I had done. And I said to Lee, ‘ If you needed help away from Under the bridge, I will come to help you. Because I respect him and love him.
So, “I think if somebody quits or gets fired and they need me to come and help them, those two captains, I would,” she added. “But I don’t think I would be like, OK cool. I’ll just go back and start doing year after year. Because it is also very tiring physically.
