Hollywood star Forest Whitaker is sad to leave “beautiful” Wales on his way back to New York.
The Oscar-winning actor shared a photo of the Welsh landscape with his 208.4K Twitter follower.
In the mail he thanked the Welsh people for the “wonderful welcome” they have received – and promised to return soon.

The 60-year-old has shot a new Netflix film called Havoc, alongside star Tom Hardy, who has been spotted on several occasions enjoying his time in Wales.
Forest tweeted: âI had to see the beautiful scenery of #Wales before I got on the plane back to New York!
âI thank everyone for the wonderful welcome I had in your country. I’ll be back soon. “
The star had previously shared his love for ‘beautiful Wales’ when he shared several photos of himself exploring Wales in his spare time.
In his previous tweet he said: “The Oscar winner tweeted ‘Enjoying the weather in beautiful Wales before heading back to the set’ with four photos of him in Penarth, Cardiff on Tuesday afternoon (31 August).
Principal photography for the new film, written and directed by Welsh filmmaker Gareth Edwards, debuted in Cardiff in July with a release date set for March 2022.

According to Netflix, the story takes place after a drug case goes awry, when a battered detective must fight his way through a criminal world to save a politician’s son, while unraveling a deep network of corruption. and a plot that traps his entire city.
It is not yet clear what role Whitaker, who won the Oscar for Best Actor for his performance in The Last King of Scotland, will play in the film or if it will take place in Wales.
