Season six of Riverdale will arrive on The CW in November 2021, with the second half of the fifth installment slated to arrive in August. Fans thought season five would be the last, so they were excited to hear about another release. Express.co.uk has everything you need to know about Season Six Episode Count.
How many episodes are there in Riverdale season 6?
Riverdale is a long-running teen drama based on the Archie comics and it debuted on The CW in 2017.
In January 2020, the series was renewed for a fifth season, which was split into two halves – the first to air in January 2021.
Episode 11 of the current season is set to air on August 11, 2021, and in the meantime fans have been treated to a season six update.
The sixth installment will debut on November 16, 2021, with five episodes airing this year.
Like season five, season six will see more episodes aired at a later date.

At the moment, there is some uncertainty as to whether the sixth season will include 19 episodes, as has been the norm since the third season.
CW Chairman and CEO Mark Pedowitz told Radio Times: “We will have finished production [on season five] end of June, beginning of July.
“So there will be enough break for them to come back at some point in early September, fully rested.”
He said it wouldn’t be possible to tap a full season in time for a 2021 air date, which is why only half will be released this year.
Ultimately, it is hoped that the series can resume its normal schedule, but that is unlikely to happen until fall 2022.
Season six episodes air in the United States on Tuesday evening, one day earlier than their usual Wednesday slot.
An unofficial Riverdale Twitter account tweeted: “#Riverdale Season 6 airs Tuesday, November 16 at 9 / 8c on The CW. “
A fan replied: “I thought season 5 was the end. I’m not complaining, I’m really, really excited !!!! “
At the moment, it’s unclear when the sixth season will arrive on Netflix for those watching in the UK.
Production for season five wrapped up on June 1, 2021, and fans are eagerly awaiting its return after the current hiatus.
