Netflix’s upcoming international series, titled “Post Mortem: No One Dies in Skarnes,” revolves around a woman named Live Hallangen (Kathrine Thorborg Johansen) who suddenly wakes up after being pronounced dead. However, things are quite different now because she’s changed a lot and that’s something she should adjust to.
The Norwegian series will premiere exclusively on Netflix on Wednesday, August 25. The series will join the elite roster of international projects such as “Dark”, “Money Heist” and “Who Killed Sara?” which are already streaming on the platform. In addition to getting good reviews, the aforementioned projects also attracted a lot of viewers.

Kathrine Thorborg Johansen Live
The Norwegian actress started her acting career in 2014 and appeared in a short film titled “The Familiar: World Ends”. From 2014 to 2017, Johansen featured in various short films such as “Jeg Faller”, “Lysning” and “Bitter Lemon”. The actress received her first major role as an actress in the television series “Heimebane” and received many accolades.
She made her film debut with the 2018 film “The Quake”. The film turned out to be a success and she also received greater recognition. 2020 proved to be a watershed year for Johansen as she appeared in two projects – “Into the Darkness” and “Ragnarok” – and made a name for herself around the world.
Elias Holmen Sorensen as Odd
Elias is a Norwegian actor who started acting at a very young age and made his acting debut in 2000 with a short film “A Devil in the Closet”. The actor has made appearances in projects such as “The Color of Milk”, “Trigger” and “Struggle for Life”. His first major role came in the fantasy adventure film “The Ash Lad: In the Hall of the Mountain King”.
He was recently seen playing the role of Pal in the movie ‘Askladeen – I Soria Moria Slott’.
André Sorum in the role of Reinert
Sorum has been part of the Norwegian entertainment industry since 2015 and started his acting career with a short film called “Bird Hearts”. He played a recurring role in the 2017 series “Unge Lovende” and then played a supporting role in his first feature film “Kings Bay”. From 2017 to 2018, Sorum appeared in several shorts like ‘On Hold’, ‘Success’, ‘Fanny’ and ‘Dog Eat Dog’.
The actor played a main role in the series “Heimebane” and received many accolades. On the other hand, he has had supporting roles in shows such as “Witch Hunt” and “Bortfort”.
Sara Khorami as Rose
Khorami is a prominent Norwegian actress known for her roles in projects such as “I am Yours”, “Okkupert” and “What Will People Say”. The actress had a recurring role in the television series ‘Seizure’. The show was moderately successful, but Khorami was praised by everyone for her acting. She also had an important role to play in the TV show ‘Witch Hunt’. Khorami portrayed the character of Aida Salim in the series.

Oystein Roger as Dr Sverre
Born April 14, 1963, Oystein Roger started acting in 1999 and made his television debut with the TV movie ‘Den Bla Koppen’. The actor has made numerous appearances in various projects and his first major role came in 2004 with the TV show “Seks Som Oss”. Roger gained notoriety with the film ‘Oslo, August 31.
‘Okkupert’, ‘Struggle for Life’, ‘Mammon’ and ‘ZombieLars’ are some of the projects he’s appeared on.
