NCIS has been many big names in the series, with almost 20 years to play with. Lucas Black has been one of the main protagonists of the series for several years. But who played the actor in the CBS series?
Who did Lucas Black play in NCIS?
Lucas Black appeared in two NCIS shows from 2014 to 2019, when he left the show for good.
He played the role of Christopher LaSalle, an NCIS Special Agent assigned to the New Orleans NCIS Team led by NCIS Special Agent Dwayne Cassius Pride (played by Scott Bakula).
The character featured heavily in both the NCIS main series and the NCIS: New Orleans spin-off, before Christopher was sadly killed off in 2019.
Her death came in the sixth season of the spin-off after a mission went horribly wrong.
The death shocked fans during episode Matthew 5: 9, when Christopher unsuccessfully attempted to avenge his brother’s murder.

He was ambushed when a trail of clues led him to an isolated cabin in Alabama, Christopher heroically dying while trying to protect a woman.
After chasing a gunman, he was shot in the arm and stomach, which ultimately led to his death.
Black recently opened up about his time on the show during an interview with Lee Domingue on the Legacy Starts Today podcast.
The star has revealed why he decided to quit the show, admitting that starring in a long-running series had an impact on his family life.
Outside of NICS, Lucas Black is best known for playing the cult character of Sean Boswell in the Fast and Furious movies.
First starred in Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift, Black then made an appearance in Fast & Furious 7 and can be seen in Fast & Furious 9, which is currently in theaters.
The star has also appeared in several other projects, including Promised Land, Legion, Jarhead and Friday Night Lights.
His first recurring role on television came in American Gothic as Caleb Temple in which he starred from 1995 to 1998.
Fans have shared their love for the character on social media, with many taking to Twitter to post about Lucas Black’s Christopher LaSalle.
One fan said: “Although his character was killed off last season in NCIS: New Orleans, Lucas Black is my favorite supporting character.” (sic)
