Blues goalkeeper Adam Przybek made his debut for National League South Braintree Town by beating Hashtag United 7-6 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the FA Cup second qualifying round.
The 20-year-old, who will be with the Essex side for a month, is the second young City goalkeeper to be sent out on loan with Harry Wright having joined Swedish side GAIS last month. The 21-year-old is yet to make an appearance for the Gothenburg-based side.
Przybek, who made his one and only first-team appearance for the Blues at Peterborough in the EFL Trophy last season after leaving West Brom in the summer of 2019, is set to join the Wales U21 squad on Monday ahead of their Qualification for the European Championships against Belgium in Leuven on Friday.
Elsewhere, U23 full-back Connor O’Reilly was loaned out to Bury Town and made his second appearance by beating Waltham Abbey 4-1 at Denny Bros Ram Meadow Stadium in the FA Cup second qualifying round.
Meanwhile, the Blues U18s beat QPR 7-2 at Playford Road in the Professional Development League Two South.

No more penalty practice needed, so there’s a great keeper
