shah rukh: Vatsal Sheth: Shah Rukh Khan once told me that as an actor one should always keep learning, and I still remember this advice


Vatsal Sheth posted an old photo with superstar Shah Rukh Khan when he was just starting his acting career. We told him about the feeling behind the photo. He said: “I was browsing my old albums a few days ago and that’s when I found these photos with SRK, so I thought about posting them on social media.”

Sharing his experience working with Shah Rukh, Vatsal said, “This photo dates back to October 2000, when I was doing my first Just Mohabaat TV show and my show was performing well. After six months I got a call from a brand to shoot for their TVC and getting a call from that brand itself was a big deal for me. And then I learned that the advertisement would have Shah Rukh Khan in it! I was in seventh heaven after hearing that. ”

Recounting their shooting, Vatsal said: “When I went to the sets I was very nervous and my director got mad at me because I didn’t understand well. I was impressed with Shah Rukh Khan and I didn’t kept staring in one of the scenes, I had to ignore it and be nice to the actress and flirt with her, but I couldn’t stop staring at him! That’s when my director shouted, saying not to look at Shah Rukh, look at the girl.

Vatsal added, “Shahrukh bhai realized that I was nervous and he calmed me down. He even went and told the director not to be hard on me, I was a child. Then he showed me how to play my part, it was really nice of him to do it. He told me that as an actor you always have to learn and I still remember that advice. ‘one of my most memorable shoots. After that I met him several times and he still remembers me from that shoot. ”
