Prince William and Kate Middleton’s eldest son, Prince George, has been traveling in public a lot lately with his parents. The young prince has attended royal events and engagements with his mother and father as they prepare him for his future role.
Body language expert Darren Stanton told Showbiz Cheat Sheet how this sets the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge apart from royal relatives who came before them. Speaking on behalf of MyBettingSites, Stanton said: “One thing about Kate and William that’s clear is that they’re very different parents compared to the Queen and Prince Philip… They do more than that. appearances with George, slowly ushering him into a life of public service and into what will one day be an important part of his life as King… It’s clear that Prince George is trained from an early age to interact with people at various events and Kate and William make excellent role models.
In addition to the bond George shares with his father as a future monarch, they also have many of the same interests seen in these photos.
Prince George and Prince William share a love of helicopters
Father and son love helicopters.
Before becoming a full-time royal, the Duke was a helicopter pilot for the RAF Search and Rescue team. He also worked as a pilot with the East Anglian Air Ambulance for two years.
During visit to London Air Ambulance Charity in 2019, William revealed that George wanted his father to get him a toy helicopter. “I can’t leave without a helicopter for George. I would be in trouble,” joked William.
The two princes are very sporty
The Duke of Cambridge is often seen in stadiums cheering on his favorite teams. And just like William, who is president of the Football Association, Prince George is also a huge sports fan.
In 2021, fans were thrilled when the third in line accompanied his parents to a couple of UEFA Euro 2020 matches at Wembley Stadium.
In the summer of 2022, George attended another sporting event with his mum and dad at the men’s Wimbledon final where he chatted with tennis champion Novak Djokovic and even got to hold his trophy.
William and George love gigs too
In early June 2022, the Duke, Duchess and their children were in the spotlight during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee. Not only were the Cambridges hanging out on the balcony with the monarch, but they were also seen at events she was unable to attend, such as the Platinum Party at the Palace.
The concert featured artists Rod Stewart, Elton John, Duran Duran and Diana Ross to name a few. And during many of these acts, George smiled alongside his father as they both sang along to the tunes.
They even dress up too
Many royal fans have noticed that the two future kings have even dressed alike lately.
The little prince resembles his dad in the style department by wearing suits of similar colors for some appearances and opting for more casual looks on official visits when they can ditch their ties.
Like father, like son, they both look pretty dapper.
