Morning Live has seen former Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh on her sofas for several years. That was until this summer, as Kym has been off the show for months. Viewers wonder why the star is not on the BBC’s Morning Live show.
Where’s Kym Marsh from Morning Live?
Kym Marsh has unmistakably been absent from Morning Live since the summer of 2021, leaving the presentation duties to co-host Gethin Jones.
The last time Kym was seen on the morning news was June 28 and now, after several months of hiatus, fans are starting to wonder where the presenter is.
As Morning Live often has three-week intervals offscreen, it wasn’t until recently that viewers realized how long it had been since Kym had been seen on the couch.
Marsh was granted extended leave from the show, initially due to his son David testing positive for COVID-19 in early July.
The requirement is to stay in isolation for 10 days, which means Kym should have returned soon after.

Sadly, the presenter’s father, Dave Marsh, was diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer, which Kym spoke about on Morning Live in June.
Marsh decided to take time off work to take care of his father after hearing the terrible news.
Express.co.uk reached out to the BBC for comment, which said: “Kym has taken time to spend time with his family.”
Now 76, Dave told The Sun in June that he still hopes he can walk his daughter down the aisle.
Kym got engaged to boyfriend Scott Ratcliff in early June after being together for three years.
Speaking to the Machester Evening Standard, Marsh said: “The NHS saved my father’s life, they saved my daughter’s life, they saved my son’s life and they saved my life, I forever beholden to them.
“They gave me the most horrific experience of my life when my son Archie passed away just minutes after his birth in February 2009.
“Even when the doctors and nurses knew there was no hope of saving his life, they never stopped giving their all to take care of me, both physically and mentally.
Viewers worried that Kym’s isn’t back on Morning Live can rest assured the star will return to the couch.
At the moment, Kym’s replacement is Janette Manrara of Strictly Come Dancing.
Manrara also recently announced that he will take on the starring duties for Strictly: It Takes Two, after Zoe Ball stepped down from the show.
She has been presenting Morning Live since July 5 and will remain in place until Kym returns.
There is no indication of when Kym will return to the show.
Morning Live airs at 9:15 a.m. weekdays on BBC One.
