Former actress Zaira Wasim, who left Bollywood in 2019, surprised her followers by sharing her first photo in two years on Instagram. Zaira announced in 2019 that she was stopping acting because she was not satisfied with her job. Zaira had said her profession did not match her faith and religion. On Tuesday, she shared a photo of herself on Instagram, where she could be seen standing on a bridge wearing a burqa.
In the photo, Zaira’s face is invisible as she looks away from the camera. The scenic beauty of the site was palpable in the image. She captioned it: “The hot October sun”.
Last year, Zaira took to Instagram to urge her followers to remove photos and videos of her from social media. She had written: âHello everyone !! I just want to take a moment to thank each of you for the constant love and kindness you have showered me with. You have all been a constant source of love and strength, thank you for being there to support me through everything. I ask that you remove my photos from your accounts and ask other fan pages to do the same. âShe has since deleted the post.
Zaira rose to fame when she played a young Geeta Phogat in Dangal. Director Nitesh Tiwari, starring Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra has become one of the most successful films of all time. She was also praised for her strong performance in Advait Chandan’s Secret Superstar. His last film before he quit acting was Sky Is Pink by Shonali Bose. The film also starred Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar and Rohit Saraf in the lead roles.
